Hi! I would like to download the Tutor Starter theme. But when I click on the “markteplace” design, McAfee tells me that the extension is not secure. In fact, if you notice it gives an extension that does not say Tutor LMS as the other designs do. See in: Presenting Tutor Starter: A Free WordPress LMS Theme for Tutor LMS | Tutor LMS

On the other hand, I downloaded the Tutor Starter theme from WP and it made me download another plugin, in addition to Tutor Mate, so I can see the layout options. And, clicking on marketplace also says it is a dangerous site. I was planning on buying Tutor LMS, but if I can’t install Tutor Starter safely it’s not going to be possible. could you guys see what’s going on? Thanks

    Hello @antoniapizzi,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I understand your concern. Please rest assured that our themes and demo content, including the Marketplace layout, are safe and hosted securely. The warning you’re seeing from McAfee appears to be a false positive.

Now, flagging status has been updated by McAfee. Please try again and let me know.

    Hi Nafiz,

Luckily McAffee no longer says it is a dangerous site. Thank you! However, when I installed the plugin in Word Press it gave error. It says the plugin installation is incomplete. It only installed Elementor and Tutor lms, but did not install Woocommerce, Tutor lms Elementor Addons or Demo content. The message says that these items could not be imported correctly.

Could you please install the TutorStarter plugin in WP and see if it gives you the same installation error as me. thanks.

    Regards,

    Antonia

    Hello @antoniapizzi,

    Thank you for the update.

The error you’re encountering is likely related to your server’s PHP configuration limits. To ensure that all components are installed correctly, please increase the following settings on your server:

    • memory_limit: 256M
    • upload_max_filesize: 128M
    • post_max_size: 128M
    • max_execution_time: 900
    • max_input_time: 900

You may need to reach out to your hosting provider to adjust these values. Once these values have been increased, please try again.

    Hi again!

I have modified the settings you shared with me on my Hosting service and reinstalled Tutor Starter. Unfortunately the problem persists. It does not load properly and also asked me to install an extra plugin: “one click demo import”. The tutor starter plugin loads incompletely, what can it be? I would appreciate it if you could help me with this.

    Kind Regards,

    Antonia
