• Thanks in advance for yer assistance.

    In any case, my problem is that having installed WordPress on my site (www.smileordie.l2p.net – and thanks for the ease of installation), and tweaked the default theme to a certain extent, there are some things I cannot figure out how to alter.

    This is just an issue of colours, but the problem lies in the fact that I want to change the colour of the “posted in” text from gray which can hardly be seen against the gray background to a lighter shade, as well as the blue colour of the links. Now, I’ve managed to change the colour of the rest of the required bits, but I cannot for the life of me discover how to change those things. Could anyone help me with this?

    My style.css can be found at:
    http://www.smileordie.l2p.net/wp-content/themes/default/style.css
    if anyone needs that information.

    Thanks again,
    Stragen.

  • I think it’s this one:

    small, #sidebar ul ul li, #sidebar ul ol li, .nocomments, .postmetadata, blockquote, strike {
    color: #777;

    Thanks, I’ll try it. My only worry about it is that checking it, #777 seems to be a reddy-colour, not a blue. Which is odd.

    Alright, I’ve now figured out what’s happening. I didn’t realise that when it says #777 it somehow creates #777777, and having now realised that also applies to other colour codes, I’ve figured out that I needed to change two colours to the ones I want. Which I have, ahr.

    Thanks again for your help, yayhr.

    Oh, right. That’s the grayish colour. I see. Thanks, that did fix that bit of it, aye. Thank ye.
