Tweets sent by specific users

Hi,

Your plugin is great, thanks for the good work. However, I have one problem that is preventing me from using it:

I need for my research to be able to fetch only the tweets sent from certain users. However, whenever I add a query with a specific username, it is considered as a tag. Then, any post including the username (i.e. replies, RTs, etc) are added to my database.

What I want is only an archive of the tweets sent by specific usernames, not the replies they receive or the RTs.

Am I configuring something wrong?
