Twenty Seventeen Not Saving Changes

    I am a long-time installer of WP sites. I just installed a new one and tried to use the Twenty Seventeen theme. It will not Save and Publish. Clicking that button never changes to Saved and the site does not update. I switched to the Twenty Fifteen theme, and it works correctly.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    Try reinstalling the twenty seventeen theme. There should be a clean install in the latest wp version.

    Mea culpa! I had uploaded WordPress with Filezilla set to ASCII instead of Auto!
