Twitter API shutdown!?

    Hi there,

    We will continue to display tweet counts as long as there is an API to fetch this. The public API for tweet counts has not shutdown yet.

    As Twitter has stopped serving share counts from 20 November 2015 and our plugin depends on Twitter to show Twitter shares, it no longer supports Twitter share counts.

    I have noticed that the Monarch still supports Twitter shares. Can you investigate how does that work and incorporate it into this plugin?

    Actually, there are many plugins still supporting share counts being fetched from their own servers. These methods are unreliable and easily gameable.
    We will start supporting it again, if there is any possibility.

    We have included OpenShareCount and NewShareCounts APIs to show Twitter share counts, from version 7.0 just released.
