We’re getting the following error when we try to post to Twitter:

{"errors":[{"code":170,"message":"Missing required parameter: status."}]}

Happens for new posts and re-submitting older posts.

Hi,
Since when do you get this error? Probably some twitter api downtime.

Not sure what that could be, I just did a test with twitter and works for me.
I’d suggest you to drop your twitter app and recreate new one.
Twitter help: http://efficientscripts.com/help/microblogposter/twitterhelp

Please make sure to enable it in ‘Read and Write’ mode.

Also if you have the possibility a good test would be from another wordpress install, preferably another hosting..

We resolved this (well found out what the problem was), ths issue was that the Twitter API would not work with the {SHORT_URL} message format.
