Twitter Embed

I recently updated the 3.4 and I have been trying to setup the twitter embed (http://en.support.wordpress.com/twitter/twitter-embeds)

My issue: my themes width for each post is about 410px therefore when the tweet is embed, the width is too large and it cuts off.

According the doc, you can create a smaller width by using the following shortcode:
[tweet https://twitter.com/itseveryday/status/210953669384998912 width=’408′]

With the new WP update, the width customization for the shortcode do not work.

Any thoughts?
