    Greetings,

    Looking to place a Twitter feed of recents tweets in the top menu bar. I’ve read about the changed API, but can’t seem to find a simple solution for this. Any fixes? Is a child theme necessary for something like this.

    If you’re referring to the top widget area, the easiest way to add a Twitter feed there is by adding a Twitter timeline widget to the top widget area. Jetpack has a good one, or you could look for a standalone plugin. You wouldn’t need a child theme to do this, you’d just install the plugin and add the widget under Appearance > Widgets.
