    Whenever I upload my article to social media channels, it displays fine everywhere (a large featured image with a text below it) except on twitter, where the featured image appears as a square image with title and text right next to it?

    How can I make it appear as it does on facebook and other social platforms?

    This isn’t handled by your WordPress theme, but by the social network itself. When you post something on Twitter, then Twitter will grab the data they need to display your post. If you want to display the Twitter post differently, you would need to check at Twitter about the requirements, e.g. look into Twitter Cards.
