I encounter the same issue and it is very annoying.

Yes it is annoying, better do not work at all, then easier to find fix. I turned off Sassy Social Share and used theme default share option and it is the same, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.

Even when I post the URL directly in Twitter post, sometimes it works and sometimes, it doesn’t.
I have cross checked with Twitter validator and my webpages and blogs are validated: https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator.
So I am scratching my head, what is the root cause of this issue. Is it the Yoast plugin?
Hopefully, this can be resolved by the Dev team quickly.

I am not sure, what it is, only Yoast plugin has Twitter options, no other plugins have options for Twitter in my case and i am using my theme Twitter integration for sharing, no extra plugin now ( same was with share plugin).
Other thing it can be maybe, is cache issue, but all is working well for FB. WordPress is updated, Theme is updated, all Plugins are updated. I already asked my server provided and sent email to Twitter, but support email [email protected] does not answer emails and it asks to send issue to web form https://help.twitter.com/forms, what i have not done yet.

Why some of the shared post pictures are gone, even if i shared them earlier with pictures and they showed pictures before on twitter? Shares that show pictures or not are changing, one time it shows, next time its not.
