Hi, I’m wondering if it’s possible to have the background color in one color and the border color in another one, according to different category.

In exemple, I’ve an entry for a class of YOGA (Category 1) where the trainer is BRIGITTE (category 2). I would like to have a yellow background because it’s YOGA and a red border because it’s a class with BRIGITTE.

I’ve tried to set the right colors in YOGA category and set his border to transparent and the inverse for BRIGITTE but a only see the background.

In other words, do the plug takes into account an event with two category ?

    Thank You !

Unfortunately that’s not how CSS works. Only the last declared CSS will be utilized. CSS doesn’t mix and match.

Category Colors sets both border and background and what you’re asking is to set one or the other, not both. Category Colors does allow to “hide” a category from the CSS. This allows that category to still be used for searching but doesn’t colorize.

To make this work you would need to determine what your principal colorizing would be and set that, then hide the secondary categories.

Thanks for your swift reply. That’s what I’ve done, I use only the mains categories.
