    Hi,
Yesterday I turned on Two-Factor Authentication and connected my Google Authenticator app. Today, when I am trying to log in I type my login and password and being redirected to type 6-digits code. I write if (taken from google auth app) and again being asked to provide my username and password. And again, and again! Looks like an endless loop. I tried in Chrome, Chrome anonymous mode, Firefox. No luck! As I am the only administrator of the website, I am not able to log in form the different account to turn it off.

When I log in as another user (Editor role) I am being redirected to xxxxxxxxxx.com/wp-admin and see the text ‘This feature is disabled’ because I changed the logging link and it’s no longer /wp-admin. So basically I do not have access to my own website!

    Hello there @szymonk92,

first I’d like to apologize for any inconveniences that Defender has caused to you by now.

I just double checked this setup in a testing site of mine using both Masking Login Page and 2FA and I couldn’t replicate it though.

Is there any caching that you could try to purge to see if this is getting resolved?

If you’re still unable to access the website, then try to manually remove Defender by accessing your site via (S)FTP and delete the wp-content/plugins/defender-security/ folder.

Then, try to set this up again in a staging environment, meaning in another WP installation that’s a complete and exact copy of the live site, uses the same server and a separate database. In there you can perform a conflict test around these functionalities, meaning that you can try to temporarily deactivate other plugins and theme and see if that makes any difference.

    Warm regards,
    Dimitris

@wpmudev-support6 Thank you for your reply. I tried to log in several times the same day I wrote this post. No luck, however, the next day I could do it without any problem. I guess cache cleaning helped. During the weekend I just made sure the website is accessible and I will perform some tests later this week. If I find something I will post it here.
