Is there any documentation on ensuring that wordfence protects a wp instance and a second instance mounted on a folder within the first instance.

    e.g davelevy.info and davelevy.info/wiki

Is it necessary to install it on the wiki? If so, does it need separate email registrations?

    Dave

    Hi @dfl1955

You will need to install Wordfence on both WordPress installations for the firewall to work correctly on both WordPress installations.

On davelevy.info also make sure that you don’t scan the WordPress installation for davelevy.info/wiki with the scan option Scan files outside your WordPress installation.

You will need a separate free license key for the second Wordfence installation and there are two ways to get another free license key:

Thank you for such a comprehensive and yet concise reply.

I discovered that Scan files outside your WordPress installation is within the General Options.
