The above is a video link to the Recaptcha settings page of my WP Registration and Membership plugin, free version. Twp Recaptchas have green checks. I cannot remove either one of them to get only one Recaptcha. How do I fix this?

What forms will the Recaptcha be on? I can’t figure that out. I have looked to see if both forms are covered with Recaptcha. I can’t find this information, and I can only assume they will be.

Your instructions say you prefer Rcaptcha V. 2. Why do you prefer V.2?

    Hi @sharenmcarthurgmailcom,

Thank you for reaching out! I want to clarify how Recaptcha works in the User Registration & Membership plugin.

    1. Green ticks in Recaptcha settings – The green checks you see only show that the Recaptcha keys you added (V2 and V3) are valid. They do not automatically apply to all forms. You can choose which version to use.
    2. Choosing which Recaptcha version to use
      • For registration forms: Go to User Registration & Membership → All Forms → Select a Form & Edit → Form Settings → General, and then select the Recaptcha version you want (V2 or V3). Or you can check in this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/jNsphjW.png
      • For login forms: Go to User Registration & Membership → Login Forms → Form Settings → Advanced, and select the Recaptcha version you want to enable. Or you can check in this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/VAxXosB.png
    3. Why V2 is preferred – Recaptcha V2 is generally more stable and works well with most browsers and themes. V3 is invisible, but it may not always work correctly on some forms or setups.

This allows you to apply only one Recaptcha version per form based on your preference.

After I fixed the problem with your help Monday, Nov. 11, 2025, I replied to your email about another problem. I have copied and pasted what I sent in the email on Monday:

Thank you for your response. For some reason, I couldn’t find this information you sent me when I looked at your setup instructions on your website. I have the free version. Anyway, I did configure the registration and login forms as you stated I should in your links. However, I have another problem.

The first video shows the Pages that I have through your free plugin: Account, login, registration. The second video shows the message that I get when I click Update form. I don’t know what to do about this error message.

I forgot to do a video recording of my lost password page to show you your code, so I made a screenshot of it. It’s at the bottom.

I submitted my message to see if the bold One attachment Scanned by Gmail screenshot would show up as the screenshot I took. It didn’t. So I am trying again. This is a screenshot of my Lost Password page to show you it is one of your pages.
