Two separate News sections

Hi

I am using a theme called tv.elements which turns posts into very specific video posts with the usual comments and descriptions coming lower down – see this link for a demo

This is great, but I want to have a regular news section which does not have this top video section and is distinct from the above news section. I have developed a new template for it, but how can I tell WordPress to distinguish between the two? So the nav would be:

home – videos – news – etc

The videos link would take you to the videos posts and the news a separate section.
