Thanks for your reply.
Must I upload all .mo files from, as is in this case – Welsh, into wp-content/languages? Or, just the cy.mo? I.e.
admin-cy.mo
admin-network-cy.mo
continents-cities-cy.mo
cy.mo
————–
admin-cy.po
admin-network-cy.po
continents-cities-cy.po
cy.po
By the way – I would prefer the UI to remain English…
I would copy also the .po-files just for having a backup 😉 … but you need just the .mo-files and in this case just the cy.mo.
For an admin-interface in your language have a look here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/multisite-language-switcher/faq/

Hello
All good, just a note, one problem – the domain.com/cymraeg WP UI is in Welsh! I know why, it’s because I selected Welsh -> Setting -> General as per plugin instructions. 🙂 My guess: upload a .po file and edit in PoEdit?
————————————————–
Just for benefit of others:
1 – Created two sites (domain.com)
2 – Created English Hello World Post
3 – Created domain.com/welsh
4 – Created a Welsh Hello World Post
5 – Downloaded the cy.mo file, renamed to cy_GB.mo, uploaded into wp-content/languages
6 – Updated wp-config.php to define(‘WPLANG’, ‘cy_GB’);, uploaded/replaced
7 – Added description link… set language for each Site to English/Welsh respectively, and Translation widget to Footer …

I just want to refer to http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/two-sites-two-languages?replies=13 – << this plugin, or the free version of it – doesn’t allow translation process after creating the post/page – in other words, the work flow is: create site / create pages + holding content / set language / add proper content.
This Plugin, Your Plugin Realloc – allows for assigning of related pages at any time doesn’t it? I can create 2 pages tomorrow, then the day after I can log back into WP and Connect them according to language? I’ve tried it, and this seems to be the case.
I will, Sir – I will donate to Greenpeace 🙂
Cheers.
Yes, you can do that any time.
Cool … let me know,
Dennis.

I’m sorry Dennis – I tried switching the Language of domain.com/welsh to ENGLISH in Settings > General, and I noticed that Language Links Disconnected. This is not an issue, but if I can repeat my above final question:
All good, just a note, one problem – the domain.com/cymraeg WP UI is in Welsh! I know why, it’s because I selected Welsh -> Setting -> General as per plugin instructions.
How do I make the UI English whilst keeping Settings > General, Language Welsh.?
As I wrote in the faq-section … 😉
But I’d like the interface to stay in English.
You could check out the plugin Native Dashboard.
Cheers,
Dennis.
