• Somehow I ended up with two slideshow plugins, your plain Slideshow, and Portfolio Slideshow. The strange thing is when I deactivate Portfolio Slideshow, my home space slideshow disappears even though I’m using your short-code (e.g., [slideshow_deploy id=’1116′])and your Slideshow properties sheet from the admin menu. (I’m using it with the Interface theme from Theme Horse.) It almost seems like WordPress thinks I’m using two slideshow plugins at the same time… Can anyone make any sense of this? Thank you.

  • Hi terrella can you delete one slideshow plugin. Does your theme have slideshow capabilities? Do you have a cache plugin? If you can you delete the plugin cache.

I was not using a cache plugin. The theme has a slideshow widget. I’m not using it because it’s not as good as the Slideshow plugin. Thanks for the help. I’ll keep trying to figure it out.

Hi terrella how are you going with your issue?

I can’t seem to fix it. I completely uninstalled both Slideshow and Portfolio Slideshow. I reinstalled Slideshow but my short code would not work. It’s the craziest thing. The slideshow works fine as long as I have both slideshow plugins installed and Activated.

Can you test one of WordPress default themes?

I will try changing the theme in the middle of the night and see what happens…. (This is a live site I built for one of my marketing clients. I can’t afford to crash the site).

Yes I understand what you mean. If you can’t change the theme for various reasons do you have a testing environment you can use for testing?
