Can you confirm that your website can send emails? This plugin simply uses the email functionality built into WordPress itself.
Do you have any other way to test email sending to verify this?
Also, ensure that you’re checking the correct email account – it will be sent to the email account for the registered user, not the blog admin email address.
Then also check for spam filtering etc.

Going to assume this is resolved for now since I haven’t heard back.
Thanks
Paul.
Hi Sorry I didn’t get back to you. But the plug in still doesn’t work. I do get emails from the registered user address otherwise. Maybe it’s an incompatibility issue with another plug in. But I can’t check that because I can’t log in at all when I use WPSF. Any suggestions?

When you say the “plugin still doesn’t work”, can you elaborate on that?
The original problem was emails not sending, and it seems that problem isn’t there any longer. I’ll need more information to begin to help here…
Thanks
When I install the plug in then try to log in, the log in form says I will receive an an email for the 2-step verification process. But the email never comes. So I can’t verify and log in.
The email account that’s registered receives other email, just not the verification from WPSF.

with the latest version (v4) can you confirm using the audit trail what the logs are for the sending of the email?
Same thing happened to me! No email! How did you disable the plugin without being able to login? Appreciate any help.
