I have two websites running Woocommerce 9.95 and Woocommerce PayPal Payments and they have two different backend interfaces. One is showing only the PayPal button and the other shows both the PayPal and the Debit/Credit Card buttons. How do I get the Debit button to show on both?

The site showing the debit button has the Connection, Standard Payments, Pay Later and Advanced Card Processing menu at the top of the settings while the other is showing Overview, Payment Methods, Settings and Styling in the top menu of settings.

    Hi @chriswm ,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

The difference that you’re seeing is the new user interface (UI) rollout in the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin — specifically introduced in recent versions as part of our gradual shift to a more modern, block-friendly and guided setup experience.

But first we would like to request for the full system status report for the site with Overview, Payment Methods, Settings and Styling in the top menu of settings – this is the new UI.

Please follow these steps to share your system status report with us:
    1. Navigate to the WooCommerce / Status section in your site’s admin panel.
    2. Click on the Get system report button and then click Copy for support.
    3. Paste the report into our [PrivateBin](http://privatebin.syde.com/).
    4. After uploading, please share the link here so we can review the details thoroughly.

We look forward to receive the report.

    Best Regards,
    Jamie

Thank you for the response. The link is https://privatebin.syde.com/?15d28ae265ffa3d0#3jN44AbtRECdB2NXYu6bno33v6QwEfSvFPYfcnrdAiSh.

I have confirmed that all of the information is the same on the second site which is showing what I assume is the older UI.

    Thanks

    Hi @chriswm,

Thank you for sharing the system status report. What you’re seeing is the result of two different UI versions being used for the PayPal Payments plugin. The site at https://www.daxhaircare.com/ is using the new UI, which no longer displays the standalone black Debit or Credit Card button if your account is eligible for Advanced Card Processing, even when that feature is not enabled.
This differs from the legacy UI, where the black card button still appears when Advanced Card Processing is disabled.
So, assuming you are using the same PayPal account on both sites and are eligible for Advanced Card Processing, this behavior is expected. To get card payments working on the site with the new UI, the correct approach would be to enable Advanced Card Processing, as the standalone black button is no longer supported in this scenario.

Let us know if you need help enabling it.

    Best Regards,
    Jamie

    Hi Jamie-

I have been looking through the settings in the plugin and I am not seeing any place to enable Advanced Card Processing. If you can help direct me to the location that would be great.

    Thanks

    Hi @chriswm ,

If Advanced Card Processing is available to you, it will be shown under WooCommerce – Settings – Payments – PayPal (manage) – Payment Methods tab. It looks like this.

Based on your system status report shared here https://privatebin.syde.com/?15d28ae265ffa3d0#3jN44AbtRECdB2NXYu6bno33v6QwEfSvFPYfcnrdAiSh, you should have Advanced Card Processing option available – unless this is for a different site, please share the full system status report to us.

Alternatively, to speed up the whole process we suggest you to contact us directly for further assistance. You can open a ticket with our service desk. Here’s how you can request support: [Request Support](https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/). Please make sure to include the URL of this thread in your ticket for reference.

We look forward to your response.

    Best Regards,
    Jamie
