Two widget areas

    My theme (MagXP) does not offer two (left and right) widget areas.

    Should I change theme or is there any other better idea?

    There are plugins that add widget areas, but I would think that the CSS would be very tricky to make it work on all devices.
    You could add it in a child theme, but you would have to figure out the CSS for making it work on all devices.
    So I would change themes if you really want two widget areas.

    What’s the best way to find such themes without just guessing?

    On the Themes page (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/) you can click on the gear with Feature Filter and select Three column.
