Type attribute unnecessary?

    Hi,

    validator.w3.org shows the following hint on all pages when checking the HTML source code

    Warning: The type attribute is unnecessary for JavaScript resources.
</script> <script type='text/javascript' id='megamenu-js-extra'>var me

    Am I correct in assuming that this is currently only a blemish, but not further relevant?
