Hi @attractmore, appreciate your patience while we researched the question. At the moment, we’re unable to replicate any conflict with the WooCommerce admin plugin. What plugin version are you using? Also, are there any fatal errors in WooCommerce? (WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs)
Thanks in advance for these details. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.
Hi @khungate Thanks for your reply.
Using Woocommerce admin 2.8.0 with Woocommerce 5.9.0. Mailchimp for Woocommerce 2.5.3
The systems status report shows all OK.
The Woocommerce mailchimp logs over the last few days show plenty of NOTICEs indicating data is being transferred but no errors.
Would appreciate any suggestions.
Hi @attractmore, to be honest this is a bit of a head scratcher. By no means are we trying to single you out, but we’ve not had any other issues reported, nor can we replicate. Do you have another site you could try a similar set up to see if it’s maybe hosting related?
I wish I had a better suggestion, we’ll continue to try to replicate. FWIW, we do have a new version of the plugin going out very soon; I doubt it would address the problem you’re experiencing, but I’ve seen stranger things happen.
HI @khungate
I look after another site using Woocommerce with the Mailchimp plugin and things become ever stranger.
On this second site the Mcilhimp plugin page (Woocommerce > Mailchimp) is perfect. All expected data is visible BUT, when I look in the console I find exactly the same error
Uncaught TypeError: o is null

So, this Uncaught typeError would seem not to be the cause of the invisble Mailchimp options on the first site!
Clearly this TypeError shouldn’t be happening and maybe the next version of the plugin will fix it somehow but, if not, then it could be a hosting issue, I suppose. Both sites are with Siteground.
Also, this still doesn’t fix my original issue but I need to go back into that. If it’s not the TypeError, I need to see what else might be causing the invisible options.
As always, any additional thoughts you have about this would be welcome.
Thanks
Sadly, upgrading to the latest version of the Mailchimp plugin did not solve the TypeError issue.
@attractmore, if you’re still using the plugin, maybe give our latest release a try (v2.6). We did patch a few bugs, but I’m not totally sure if it would address the same problem you were experiencing. Please let us know if you have any luck.
Hi @khungate
Thanks for following up on this.
I have upgraded to 2.6 and, interestingly, the Type error issue has gone away!
However, this has not solved the original problem in that the Mailchimp page in Woocommerce just shows me the Chimp logo in a white box and the rest of the page is empty. There are no errors in the console. However, most of the divs on the page have no content – just the opening <div> with some classes and the closing </div>.
So, the 2 issues (empty screen and TypeError) would seem to be unrelated.
On another e-commerce site I manage, the Mailchimp screen is as it should be and no TypeError. Same host, many of the same plugins. This is all rather mysterious.
As always, any thoughts or suggestions about this would be very welcome.
Hi @attractmore, I’m sorry we missed your last question. If you’re still having issues, it sounds like there may be a theme conflict somewhere during set up. Also, we’re currently on v2.6.2.
Please let us know if you still need any help and we’ll be glad to reopen and troubleshoot further. Please note, the best way to reach us is over at the GitHub plugin page: https://github.com/mailchimp/mc-woocommerce/.
