I am currently running my plugin with Types 1.5.7 and have not yet encountered any problems. However, I have been using Types 1.5.7 for only a few days so the testing is not as thorough as with Types 1.5.5. The change log for Types 1.5.7 and 1.5.6 show that these are maintenance releases – i.e, bug fixes – so these kind of changes are unlikely to break my plugin. To be completely safe you may want to wait for more user feedback. However, except for making a few entries in the table wp_options to save its settings this is a read only plugin – it essentially does not change your database – so it safe to try.
It seems to work during the setting, and the form appears correctly.
But it doesn’t show me the custom posts that I’m looking for, it just show an empty page. It’s strange because it “knows” that there are posts to search (it shows the number of posts beside the value to check).

I’ve found the source of the problem!
It’s not a matter of template. There should be a sort of incompatibility between this plugin and the WPML Multilingual. If I deactive WPML, your plugin finds the posts correctly, with WPML activated it give no results.
