I am not currently using Types as I found it too difficult to do some things I really needed and have switched to a different CMS plugin. So I really don’t know if my plugin gets broken unless someone reports a problem. I am still committed to fixing it if someone does report a problem.
In the case of the previous problem we had, Types changed the database format of a field. These kinds of changes will break my plugin. Further, you cannot just re-install the previous version of Types as the newer version has changed the MySQL database. It is imperative that you backup the database before upgrading the plugin so you can restore the database.
Ok, thank you. I will try it with a test website.
Thank you.
Anyway, it seems to work with Types 1.6.4.
A question: is there the possibility to show a message when no content matches the search criteria, instead the blanck page?
Thank you!
My plugin actually doesn’t output anything. It just selects the posts that is to be displayed. The theme you are using does the actual display of the results. In particular in the case where there are no results it is the theme that outputs the error message. What theme are you using? I tested with Twenty Twelve and it outputs “Nothing Found …”. Can you temporarily try a different theme?
