    Hi Miyoshi-san.

    Contact Form 7、いつもお世話になっています。
    HTML5では、<script>のtype属性値のtext/javascriptは、非推奨になっているので、無くしてしまうと良いと思います。

    type=”text/javascript” is currently unrecommended. So it shall be better to remove.

    The type is a required attribute in HTML 4, and as you can’t be 100% sure even now that there is no one trying to access with a pre-modern browser, the contact form plugin needs to keep the compatibility for the type attribute use.

    That said, as you pointed out, the type attribute is now optional in HTML5 and should be omitted when the content of the script element is JavaScript, it will be not set by default in the future versions.

    Thank you for giving me a quick reply.

    I understood that you’re care for lower compatibility.

    This issue is not so critical.
    So, I am looking forward to disappearing errors at W3C validator.
