Typing lag when “Jetback Blocks” is enabled

For several months now, I experience really annoying typing lag anytime I’m writing a new post. It’s a small, but very noticeable amount of maybe 100 milliseconds delay in between keystrokes. If I disable the Jetpack Blocks feature (Jetpack –> Writing –> Jetpack Blocks), the lag immediately stops happening. The problem is that use features contained in that feature and really can’t leave it disabled. I know I’m not the only one to have this problem because I found this thread describing exactly the same thing as what I’m experiencing. That thread is the only reason I know that the Jetpack Blocks feature is the problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue? Are there any suggestions to resolving it or definitively identifying a more specific cause?
