The email with subject …order has been received! Has a typo in the body, received is misspelled. “Just to let you know — we’ve receiived your order #13943, and it is now being processed:”

I have looked at the templates in the email folder, and received is spelled correctly. There is no email folder in the theme. Not sure where else to look.

  • Hi @thardy99 – I’ve verified locally that this is not the case on my emails: https://d.pr/i/Ypcw4A
This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Joey, thanks for the reply. I have a bigger problem than the misspelling. When we changed to the production server with the production Braintree credentials the email stopped showing any product information. Also missing from the order dashboard. If you have any ideas on that, I would really appreciate it.

    Hey there!

Can you send a screenshot of what you are referring to?

I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
