Ugly loading

Is there a way to prevent the ugly gallery loading of the Responsive Gallery Grid. It just throws all the images in a pile on the page with random captions or whatever the text is and then finally once it loads, reorganizes everything. Thankfully it loads very fast but not fast enough to avoid seeing that jumbled mess. How can this be prevented?
