UI on Touch Devices

I’m not sure how deeply MP6 goes in terms of the lines blurred between plugin functionality and core, but a big issue that continues to be a problem in Multisite and BuddyPress instances is this ticket: http://core.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/ticket/23023

If MP6 is the space where UI can be sorted, I thought I would bring this issue to your attention in the hopes of solving an issue that plagues MS instances for Mobile users.
