Ultimate FAQ shortcode not loading on mobile

    Hello, I’m having a problem with the shortcodes not loading on mobile. You can test this with chrome using the Device Mode feature of the Inspector. When I am in desktop mode everything works fine. When I choose a mobile phone like iPhone or Galaxy S4 the shortcodes don’t load. Any idea why it would work on one and not on the other? Using Flatsome as the theme.

    The shortcode also seems to stop working if I switch to a default theme like twentyfifteen. I’m boggled by this, I have no idea why switching themes would cause the shortcodes to not expand. Other plugin shortcodes are working, just not this one.

    Hi Capsid,

    It can happen that a plugin interferes with a theme. This is why we do not guarantee a full compatibility with all themes. We will try to investigate how to prevent it. Would you be able to provide us a link to your website?

    Hi Capsid,

    The plugin should definitely work with the default theme. If you post the link, we’d love to take a look at what might be going wrong.

    As far as the plugin not working with the default theme, I believe that may have been a caching issue, false alarm. The original issue (shortcodes not being evaluated on mobile) still stands. Thank you!

    When you switched to twentyfifteen theme, were the shortcodes working on mobile?

    Yes, in twentyfifteen they work on mobile. I guess it’s a theme issue then, huh. I’ll contact the theme author. Thank you!
