    MailPoet suggests using the WordPress plugin called “Members” to manage user roles. Is there any problem using the “Ultimate Member” plugin instead?

    You can most certainly try Ultimate Member. The Members plugin was just a recommendation.

    Thanks for the response. Just letting everyone know that the “Members” plugin carries a warning that it is not compatible with the current version of WordPress. “Ultimate Member” does not have such a warning, and is therefore a safer way to go for managing user roles.
