ultimate member is breaking cacheing

Hi Calum,
We’re running Ultimate Member here:

When the user goes to that page, a session cookie is set by Ultimate Member. Why is this the case if the user is just browsing the content?

The problem is that the session cookie breaks our cacheing and all subsequent page loads from the site for that user have this session cookie and, thus, produces a slow experience.

Is it possible to tighten up the session code so that cookies are set only when necessary? Why are they needed at all?
