There is a compatibility error with Gravity Forms and Ultimate Member. Specifically, if you use a GRavity Form on a website where Ultimate Member is installed and that form has an image upload field it will break the form completely.

You can replicate this very quickly by installing:
    Gravity Forms
Add form with an image field.
    This form will be broken!

I am using the GF Registration, and role connector script…but I have gone to great lengths to test this down to these specific conflicts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I have put in two hours trying to figure out where the conflict was at…

I am not sure why, but with Elementor & Gravity Forms added using an Elementor shortcode widget the form is being rendered twice.

Those warnings are caused by embedding the form on the page twice:

Browsers and JS don’t support multiple elements on a page using the same id attributes so the extra instance of the form is blowing up the form.

    Hi @gravnetic

Sorry for the late response. Could you please confirm what version of Ultimate Member has this issue? Does this issue occur with the latest version 2.3.2?

@gravnetic I have archived your reply and ask for a “support email”. That is not how these volunteer support forums work.

If you need support for this free and opensource plugin then this topic is the place for that. If not then either consider hiring someone (do not post that here) or stop using this plugin.

@jdembowski I am so confused about what you are describing.

I am informing the plugin developers that their plugin causes a direct incompatibility any site that is loading a Gravity Form in Elementor. I have spent quite a bit of time narrowing this down to this combination. I have filed support tickets with both Gravity Forms and Elementor and can even provide details about what function in Ultimate Member is causing this.

I don’t use or have installed any add-ons as per their own determined pricing. If they want to resolve this, great…if not I’ll certainly look at doing so on my own.
