UM register ignoring captcha

    I have captcha activated
    new users are registering and ignoring the captcha “I am not a robot” block
    UM version 2.0.17
    captcha version 1.36

    this is urgent as I am being flooded with spurious registrations

    Hi @mmcp42,

    Please go to your WP dashboard -> Settings -> General and uncheck “Membership – Anyone can register” this will disable registration link on your /wp-admin page, however, new users will still be able to register via Ultimate member registration.

    your reply finished up in spam
    tried your suggestion
    made no difference I’m afraid
    still ignoring captcha 🙁
