Unable to activate due to php error | ww.wp.xz.cn

When I install and attempt to activate I get the following error:

Parse error: parse error in /Users/george/Sites/lalcwp/wp-content/plugins/recent-post-list/recent_post_list.php on line 236

I running WordPress 4.1 and php 5.5.14
