unable to attach sidebar

    using customizr free theme
    After problems with wordpress update had to re-create my sidebars
    I can NOT get my custom left sidebar to show on my shop page
    I checked the box to allow the left sidebar to be replaced
    created a custom sb named shop
    went to shop page and selected my custom sb
    when viewed the “space” for the left side is there but the custom sb doesn’t show 🙁
