Unable to make 2nd data request

In testing how the plugin works I have found that even after 24 hrs a 2nd request can’t be made for that email address. (using google chrome & WP GDPR Compliance v1.4.2)You just keep going in circles whether trying from the links in original email or directly going to site. Whether logged into admin or not, or even incognito.
The admin log says that the request is active even though it’s dated 2018-09-24 18:52:48. Are we supposed to do anything with the log?
Please advise how to rectify this 2nd request issue?
