Have you tried deactivating all plugins and switching to twentythirteen to see if any plugins are causing it or whether it’s really a theme issue?

I had to deactivate the Jetpack comments. I knew it was simple. Thanks!

When I select post comment on the main screen of webpage, it says “submitting comment” but the comment does not post or save. It allows me to manually enter a comment through the backend but not via the website.
