Unable to process Payment ERROR
-
As it seems to be whenever i try to make a test or a live payment in my website using the stripe payment gateway plugin i get the same error “Sorry we are unable to process your payment right now. Please try again later.
I first contacted stripe to check if there was a problem on their part but they assured me that everything was fine.
Then i read all the topics in the woocommerce forum and stripe payment gateway forum but i didnt find a totally explained solution and i cant follow the instructions.
I received an email from wordpress warning me that it detected a problem with the woocommerce plugin on my website and it would be best to contact my host. So i did but everything was fine there too.
I also deactivated all my plugins and my themes and the error still appeared! I even tried to install an older version of woocommerce and still didnt work outWhat is going on? I am losing customers daily it is really important to to solve this problem please HELP!!
If there is anything i can do to help you understand the situation further tell me and i will!! Should i perhaps share my system status here?i posted this question in woocommerce forum and i was asked to add a screenshot of the logs of stripe after running a test transaction. But after i run the test nothing appeared in the logs of stripe. What does that mean?

Hi @oneirokrepas ,
It’s odd that you’re receiving Stripe error even on disabling other plugins.
For us to understand your setup better, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response. Also, please share a screenshot of the error that you see. You can use https://snipboard.io to send us a screenshot link.
Do let us know so we can check and help further.
Hello there thanks for replying!!

error image
Just to make sure for the plugin deactivation method. I deactivated all of my plugins except the ssl plugin that i have stripe payment gateway and woocommerce. I left those three activated so that i could run a transaction isnt that enough for this method?
i also ghot an email from woocommerce that might be helpful saying that wordpress found a problem in woocommerce and not stripe payment gateway plugin :
hereand my system status is the following:

Hi @oneirokrepas,
Thanks for providing your system report. When testing for us I’ve not personally been able to replicate the behaviour you’re experiencing when using the same version of WordPress, WooCommerece and the Stripe plugin.
Without any content from log files, it’s hard to ascertain what the problem could be. Do you have the Stripe gateway in Test or Live mode and have you checked that you’re using the correct API keys for the mode the gateway is set to?
Have you also tested with WooCommerce and Stripe as the only activated plugins on the site?
Here are the logs for stripe payment gateway. They are empty how can i trigger them to show something usefull?
No i havent but why should i deactivate the simple ssl plugin? Without it the payments wont go through anyways . Not safely at least.. I even tried to activate a wordpress default theme while having as the only activated plugins woocommerce stripe payment gateways and really simple ssl and still didnt work out
What else should i do?
Hi @yusuflimz,
Here are the logs for stripe payment gateway. They are empty how can i trigger them to show something usefull?
To be able to offer any guidance we would need to see the content of any log files which were related to a transaction from Stripe. The error message itself would not be enough information to be able to debug what the cause of that could be.
If you place the Stripe payment gateway into Test mode and enter some test API keys from your Stripe account that will allow you to test if any transaction work. If the test transactions do function then it would indicate the issue is related to Live mode only.
Logs on this thread:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/orders-not-being-completed/#post-13654583
neither the test nor live mode are working they both give me the same error message in the checkout page after a failed attempt to make a transaction both test or live mode. Why are my logs not showing any information that could help us find out the root of the problem?
Check out this screenshot i got from wordpress as well if that helps here
I contacted once again stripe support and this is what they told me what do they mean what to i have to do to connect my stripe account to woocommerce help me out please!
Hi @oneirokrepas,
To connect your Stripe account to the free WooCommerce Stripe plugin using your API keys you can follow the steps listed within the Setup and Configuration section of the documentation below to complete that.
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
