Unable to “redo” plugin setup

I am trying to update the plugin setup. I deleted the plugin and reset cache after noticing the problem.
1) I click “redo plugin setup” hyperlink from WP backend.
2) I click “Proceed” button from https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/ page.
3) I get error page as the hyperlinked proceed button redirects my website to the site’s old staging site.It seems like the hyperlink in Google’s button has retained the wrong URL. How can I change this?
