    I am trying to update the plugin setup. I deleted the plugin and reset cache after noticing the problem.

    1) I click “redo plugin setup” hyperlink from WP backend.
    2) I click “Proceed” button from https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/ page.
    3) I get error page as the hyperlinked proceed button redirects my website to the site’s old staging site.

    It seems like the hyperlink in Google’s button has retained the wrong URL. How can I change this?

    Hi there @blk709,

    Thanks for opening a support topic and sharing the steps you take before being redirected. If you’ve migrate Site Kit while the plugin was connected then I suspect you are correct, and the site records on the Site Kit service may point to your old staging site.

    In order to resolve this can you try to reset the plugin (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit)? After doing so please attempt setup once more. By resetting the plugin all previous site records will be cleared. Note that you and any other previously connected administrators if any will need to setup the plugin once more.

    Let me know how you get on after attempting a reset.
