Unable to save any forms on WPForms

    Note: I am reposting this so it can be in the correct places unlike my initial posts fyi.

    Hi,

    As the title states, I am absolutely unable to make any forms and save them. Any time I do it an error always shows up. It happens on both WPForms and other forms, which any time I try to make a new form and make the edits it gives me an error saying among the lines of ‘there was an error while saving’.

    I have tried everything from re-installing the versions of WordPress, uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin and nothing is working and I am at wits end on how I am even supposed to fix it.

    I also need a quick answer on this as I am asked by my boss to set up a form and nothing is wanting to cooperate with me and I am frankly driven up the wall. If anyone can give me a quick fix on it I will absolutely appreciate it. I will also be happy to provide anything else needed.

    Hi @mk1974,

    Sorry to hear about the issue you are facing with saving your forms within the form builder.

    This issue is usually observed when the AJAX script (which allows the form to save without refreshing the page) is not being allowed to load. This almost always stems from a file permissions issue. If you contact your host and ask them to reset file permissions, this should start working properly.

    Hi @niksebastian ,

    Is there a way to fix the AJAX script through editing the php files or do I have to contact the server host to get it fixed? I found out I could edit my php files directly so I was wondering if there is a way to do that?

    Hi @mk1974,

    When you get a chance, please reset the permission as shown in the guide by WPBeginner.
