Unable to save API Key
-
Hello,
I am unable to save the API key. When I try to add it, I do get the green ‘success’ message, however the field for the API key remains empty. It is also not possible to see/change any of the plugin settings.
I do see a button at the checkout form that users can tick to subscribe to the newsletter.
Any help is much appreciated!

Hey there @scherponline,
Thanks for getting in touch. I can certainly see the trouble there and would be glad to help investigate.
Due to the high potential for customization in WordPress, many aspects of the installation or different plugins can interact with other plugins in unexpected ways. In order to account for this in our troubleshooting, would you mind providing a few details about your site for us?
— Could you share with us the WooCommerce System Status in your account? This page lists out all of the relevant details we’ll need and can be found by navigating to Plugins > WooCommerce > System Status.
If you’re not comfortable sharing that System Status page, could you specify the following details for us?
— What is the version of PHP running on the site?
— What is the version of MySQL running on the site?
— What is the version of MailChimp for WooCommerce running on the site?
— What is the version of WooCommerce and WordPress being used?
— Does the problem persist when changing to a different WordPress theme?
— If possible to test, does the problem persist when disabling all active plugins except MailChimp For WooCommerce? Thanks in advance for these details. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

Thanks for the response, below answers to the questions:
— What is the version of PHP running on the site?: 5.6.29
— What is the version of MySQL running on the site? 5.5.20
— What is the version of MailChimp for WooCommerce running on the site? 1.1.1
— What is the version of WooCommerce and WordPress being used? 3.0.0 / 4.7.3
— Does the problem persist when changing to a different WordPress theme? – Does not work
— If possible to test, does the problem persist when disabling all active plugins except MailChimp For WooCommerce? – Does not workHope this helps. Thanks
Hey there @scherponline
Thanks for providing that information and the quick reply! Taking a look, it appears that the MySQL version needs to be updated to the minimum requirement of 5.6. This is a minimum requirement for MailChimp For WooCommerce and WooCommerce.
While this won’t necessarily guarantee a resolution to the issue we’re seeing, I’d like to rule this out first to make sure there aren’t any issues interfering with the installation or versions that could be causing this issue.
Let me know if you’re still seeing issues after upgrading. I’d be glad to help further.

SQL has been updated to 5.6.34 however the API key is still not stored when I try to save.
Best,
PietHey @scherponline,
Thanks so much for going ahead and testing that out for us. Could you try one last test for us – if you try to save the API key using an alternate browser, does it save? I ask this because sometimes plugins and extensions can interfere and cause odd behavior. Testing with an alternate browser with all plugins and/or extensions disabled would rule that out. In the meantime, I’ll go ahead and pass this information along internally to allow our developers to take a closer look. Thanks again for the post.
Warm Regards,
Pearl
I’ve trief other browsers and disabled all plugins. Unfortunately no success…
Thanks @scherponline – I really appreciate it. I’ll update this ticket with new information as I’m able.
Thank you again,
Pearl
@mcsupport, any updates?
Thanks
