Unable to upload plugins/media

Hi,

I’ve recently started to use WordPress and have an issue I’m struggling to solve.

Media will upload sporadically, when it is successful (e.g. http://brokenhookers.com/__new_website/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/apr56_lg_21.jpg ) and I insert the media into a post, it doesn’t show up (e.g. http://brokenhookers.com/__new_website/wordpress/?p=453&preview=true&preview_id=453&preview_nonce=249f08383d ).

Sometimes when uploading media there is an error on line 455?

Plugins I can’t seem to install anymore either, I’m gettign the following error:

Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

Could not copy file. /home/hookersd/public_html/__new_website/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/duplicate-post/languages/duplicate-post-es_ES.mo

Plugin install failed.

NOTE Prior to yesterday I could upload both media and plugins.
