can you provide a URL to your site? As with many WP sites, there is always the potential for plugin conflicts.
Unfortunately, as an Expert WordPress Website developer, I run into this all the time with themes and plugins that clients have installed.
However, we do take the compatibility of our plugins seriously, and if there is actually anything we can do to alleviate conflicts, we will do our best.
Would you be able to provide a guest admin account for us to access the backend and see what you have back there.
We will only investigate, not change anything, including our plugin. Once we have taken a satisfactory look, we will let you know, so you can demote the Guest Admin to a subscriber or delete it altogether.
The site looks pretty clean from the outside. But I would like to see how you have NGG configured, and how you are using it in relation to everything else.
If you want to do this, simply use the [email protected] email to create the account or use that email to send me the account details.
I would like to keep the discussion here though, so the outcome can serve as help to others with a similar issue.
hi,
I have added you as administrator and sent email to you.
I cannot say how it should be configured as I only installed and activated the plugin.
Many thanks
Yeah there are no settings for it currently. That will be part of the next release. So you wouldn’t have had to configure anything. We just want to look around to see if we can find a conflict, and if so, can we fix it, and if not we can at least list it as an incompatibility.
did you make sure you ticked the box to send the login information to the user, when you created it?
Hi,
Yes I did tick box to send email πLEt me know if you haven’t had it
yeah we got it. Paul has looked but will be requesting FTP access. he took the image that you were having an issue with, and uploaded it to our test site. Everything worked fine for us.
Since this issue seems to only happen to some users in the European region, we are wondering if it may be a hosting related issue.
I am going to create a special contact form on the JEM website for cases like yours that we may want more information about, like which hosting company you use.
For instance, our server is a dedicated server based in the U.S. – Hostgator.
Some of our clients have had extremely strange hosting providers, and we run in to many issues when we are developing their sites for them.
But for now he should have emailed you back with that request.
Out of nearly 2000 downloads, we have only had a handful, like 5, reported issues, and the sites are from the same part of the world. So we are looking for more common threads to the issues.
Hopefully we can help.
Hi,
Could you provide URL of special contact form so I can send FTP details?
Many thanks
Woodie-
I’m just doing a follow up to see how this has gone? Have you given Paul FTP access?
Please follow up.
Johnny
