what’s the actual problem? you’ve not really explained what’s happening or not happening…

When someone submits an event, the authorized message comes up.

ok, silly question, but in the Event-Manager settings page have you checked the allow anonymous event submission box?

if not: event-manager -> settings -> event submission forms and scroll down until you find it…

Yep! And I even created an anonymous profile.

have you changed the permissions for the subscriber level access in the plugin to include publishing events? your anonymous profile has subscriber access but by default the plugin doesn’t allow subscribers to publish events.

also, have you allocated your anonymous profile in the guest default user dropdown?

    Yes to both!

in that case i’m out of ideas! maybe it’s a feature that’s there to tease you into buying the pro version…

thanks for trying! wouldn’t want to buy the pro version til the basics work..

After months of trying to fix it, it works now. I removed a bunch of plugins, and updated the events manager software plugin.

    thanks for your help!

no worries. always make sure you’re running the latest version of the core and the plugins and themes are compatible with it and you should be fine 🙂
