    Hi @jamesc91,

This error can occur when the search bar is removed from the page e.g. by a JavaScript script. In that case, there’s nothing to reference, and the error appears.

However, I see that on your site the search bar is now displaying correctly and the error no longer appears in the console.

    Hi Damian,

Hope you are well and thanks for the reply.

Would a caching plugin cause this to be removed?

The strange thing is it does appear when you load the page then refresh. Or loads on a product page straight away. I am having an issue where when you go to a product on a category page then click back on mobile sometimes the page does not load products until it is refreshed. Thinking it could be one of these errors causing them not to load.

    Cheers

    Hi James,

Caching plugins are unlikely to cause this issue. Ideally, we need to find a set of repeatable steps that consistently trigger the error.

I can’t recreate this issue. I tried do it on Android na iPhone and on desktop. I wasn’t able to reproduce the JavaScript error in either case. Could you provide the exact steps needed to trigger the JavaScript error? Also, please let us know which device and browser you’re using when the error occurs.

    Hi Damian,

Apologies I did not get a notification for your reply.

I did speak to our caching plugin guys and they said it is not to do with them.

I am using Google chrome – I have listed below a video to replicate.

    Hi James,

Thanks for the clearer explanation. We’ll make sure to handle this error in the next plugin release.
