Hi @michael78
There is a bug in the latest plugin version 7.3.5 that can, under certain circumstances, negatively impact different kinds of WooCommerce functionality, and is caused by the Voucher gateway module.
If you encounter any problems in this regard, you could work around it either by temporarily disabling the Voucher gateway, or alternatively downgrading to the previous version 7.3.4 until the next update has been released with a fix.
Please let us know how this works for you.
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Niklas
This issue was fixed for the next update, which is expected to be released in the coming days.
In the meantime, there is a pre-release version available for testing from the GitHub repo: https://github.com/mollie/WooCommerce/releases/tag/7.3.6-beta
But as we have not heard back from you in a while, I’m marking this thread as resolved.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reopen this topic or create a new one. Thanks!
Any news about that update to 7.3.6? That error cost me probably about a month of desperate troubleshooting, and I never even closely got the idea that this could be related to Mollie
Our use case was a different one from the OP but in the end, we also tried to add/update WooCommerce categories, only that it’s done via a Connector plugin to JTL (ERP system)
Any update on 7.3.6? What about release date? Any feedback from other users about that particular error on 7.3.6?
best regards
Markus
The problem obviously is there since 7.3.5 – 24-01-2023. And now it’s April. We urgently need some status about this?!
For whoever sees this – it’s a bit disappointing that Mollie is not answering in any way about this topic (not here, not via customer support). Because of this error a connector to an ERP did not work for 2 months. We had thousands of entries in the table wp-terms that could only be deleted manually, this all goes back to Mollie
Today two updates were rolled out 7.3.6. and 7.3.7 – I assume this is fixed now (but who knows for real)
Hi @markussss
The problem reported by @michael78 was resolved in the latest update.
So saving/changing categories should be working fine again.
Fix – Error when creating product category
But we must ask you to please create a thread for yourself if you need help, instead of hijacking (resolved) threads from other users. This is not appropriate as it will notify them when it’s not needed and the support will not monitor your request.
You can create a new thread with a link to potentially related other threads. Or you can contact the Mollie Support Team directly for more guidance.
Thanks for your understanding!
Kind regards,
Niklas
Hi @niklasinpsyde
I understand of course the rules about a separate thread – but on the other hand, many things got solved because few people put their heads together (I had this many times already in the forum, and email notifications can be handled individually)
The Mollie Support team did not reply after I asked 2 or 3 times .. so there is not much left.
Good that it is finally solved – it had a big impact on us but we didn’t know as we never even closely came up with the idea that Mollie could be the source of all problems in that case.
best regards
Markus
