I have WP Forms Lite free version 1.6.5 installed on my website running WordPress version 5.7 and PHP 8.0.2.
I have an error generated by WP-Optimize on my website referring to “Uncaught Error”. I reported this error to their Support team with the full email and stack trace. Their analysis and response indicate:
From the log in the email, it appears that the errors are being generated by the ‘wpforms-lite’ plugin. The error appears to be related to that plugin’s scheduled tasks.

I would recommend ensuring that the WP Forms Lite plugin is fully updated,
You may also wish to forward the error message to that plugin’s support team.

I have the error and stack trace report available to forward for assistance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @jahrat,

Thanks for writing in and our apologies for the trouble you’re facing!

It looks like the specific issue you’re having is related to PHP 8, so unfortunately you will need to have your server set to run PHP 7.x. At the moment, we are not quite ready with PHP 8 compatibility, but it is coming soon on the horizon.

I believe PHP 8 support is coming in the next major release, but that is subject to change based on a number of factors. When you have a moment, could you ask your web host to set your site to run PHP 7.x then test the site again? I believe that should resolve your issue.

Thanks, and again I do apologize for any inconvenience.

    Hello @jadeam,
I have another website using WP-Forms Lite version 1.6.6 with WordPress v5.7 and PHP 7.4.16. This site is not multisite. https://gmc-mca.org.
This site has also registered an uncaught error on 4 April 2021. The log file is available to send to you.
[CRITICAL] : Uncaught Error: Class ‘WPForms\Tasks\Actions\EntryEmailsTask’ not found in /home4/angielee/public_html/gmc-mca.org/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/src/Tasks/Tasks.php:52
I reverted the multisite to PHP 7 and the error is still generated. I have a new log file for 4 April as well.

    Hi @jahrat,

Thanks for giving that a try.

When you get the chance, could you please try using the steps in WPBeginner’s detailed guide on troubleshooting WordPress to see if it helps resolve the issue?

    Hi @jahrat,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
