Thanks for that info, it looks to be a problem with WP Rocket loading the inline JS asynchronously.
I’ve reported the issue to them directly, but you can work around it by adding “ewww_webp” to the Exclusions under their Delay JavaScript Execution setting: https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1349-delay-javascript-execution
Quick update, WP Rocket was already working on excluding the JS WebP code from async loading, and I’ve provided additional details to assist them in that effort. They plan to have the exclusion in the next release.
