When uploading new file to the folder, the plugin changes its name (and url) to “undefined”.
A month ago everything was fine, every uploaded file was given its proper filename and the same name as the direct link.
And suddenly it is no more. Just “undefined”.
The name can be changed to any desired, but the direct links is always left as “undefined-[number]”, eg. undefined-97, udnefined-158.

I disabled all the recently downloaded plugins, I disabled and uninstalled Media Library as well, installing it form sratch.

    And again. “Undefined”.

Yes, it still works properly – but leaves a mess when it comes to URLs.

Your issue is unique and I am not able to reproduce it. The error could be caused by a Javascript conflict. You could try using the plugin with a different theme.

Hi Alan I am using the free and paid versions both and I am having the same problem with the free versions .. after the last update I tried new themes even the default theme and turned off all my plugins did a database reset and I turn on media library free on first and only test the plugin alone and the problem is there it even kicks the slug option off I uninstalled and re-ininstall the plugin and removed from my database to and the problem is there the title of the images comes up as undefined and the permalinks like this http://yoursite.com /blog/undefined/
I even tried resetting my permalinks and nothing now going to your site and report the paid one it is doing the same

and it is leaving a mess with the urls

Then I recommend going back to a previous version such as 4.0.8 or 4.0.7. Those can be found at this link at the bottom of the page, https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/media-library-plus/advanced/. You will need to deactivate and delete the current plugin if you try to upload it through WordPress. You will not loose your folder data since is stored in the database.

Please let me know which version resolves the issue.

Hi Alan on the free version I could get version 7 to work with no error or problems and the permalink works in 7 but not 8 or 9 but I had to uninstall all database info though to install and wor kwith no trouble going to test the paid version now to see what happens will keep you posed on that in email support>

All right, I will get an update out in a few hours to roll back the recent changes.
